Emergency vehicles made safer in Seattle with LYT.emergency

In and around the University of Washington, LYT aids local fire department to build a safer community for all.

LYT will provide the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) with LYT’s cloud-based open-architecture centralized system for emergency vehicle preemption, LYT.emergency, for 32 signals near the University of Washington. LYT’s signal preemption solution will provide traffic flush patterns (Green Wave) for emergency vehicles during times of high traffic. LYT will also provide SDOT with user access to the LYT Portal to view live operation and reporting of emergency vehicle preemption.
