LYT.transit will provide a cloud-based TSP system for 20 intersections using existing McCain traffic signal controllers with existing fiber optic or wireless communication network for a 12-month system deployment and operation.
“We are pleased to bring LYT on board to assist the City of Philadelphia in moving forward with the next generation of Transit Signal Priority technology,” said Mike Carroll, Deputy Managing Director, Transportation and Infrastructure, City of Philadelphia. “We look forward to the benefits this investment will have on improving the day-to-day lives of public transit riders in Philadelphia.”
