LYT Welcomes Mobility Expert Jane Macfarlane to Board of Directors

San Jose, Calif. – LYT, a leading provider of smart cities solutions, is proud to announce the appointment of smart cities expert Jane Macfarlane, Ph.D. to its board of directors.
Based in Berkeley, Calif., Dr. Macfarlane is the Director of the Smart Cities and Sustainable Mobility Research Center in the Institute for Transportation Studies at UC Berkeley and an Affiliate Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. She has over 30 years of experience in high-performance computing, data analytics, and geospatial mapping.
Dr. Macfarlane has directed industry research groups, including Chief Scientist for HERE – a leader in geospatial mapping and was the Director of Advanced Technology Planning for OnStar at General Motors – the first at-scale, telematics solution. She holds over 25 patents, primarily in geospatial data analytics.
